While your posts are saved as a draft, only you can continue to make changes. To edit or make changes to a draft, please follow these steps:

  1. Make sure you’re signed into Patch, then click on “Hi, Username” at the top right area.

  2. On the drop-down menu that appears, click on “Your Posts.”

  3. Under the first section, “Drafts,” you can see all of your currently saved drafts which you haven’t yet submitted.

  4. Click into one of your “Drafts,” and it will indicate that you are “Previewing” it.

  5. Next to “Previewing,” it will give you options to “Edit,” “Delete,” or “Post Now.” Click “Edit” to continue adding text, categories, photos/videos to your post. Then you can still “Save as draft” again, “Cancel” or “Post Now.” Click “Delete” if you want to remove it completely. Click “Post Now” to push it live to the site. (You will still be able to “Edit” or “Delete” the post after it’s live on the site.) Note: If a section you’re posting to is being moderated by the editor/manager before it can be posted live, the “Post Now” button may instead show as “Submit for Approval.”

  6. You will now find this post when you go to “Your Posts” and click in the “Scheduled” section.
